Discuss:
Create:
- Create a background image for blogger with raster-based image editor (SumoPaint)
- Select File -> New Image
- Set a resolution of 1280x1024
- Explore the variety of tools, paintbrushes & colors
- When done, select File -> Save to My Computer and set format as .JPG. Remember what you called the file and where you saved it.
- Leave the image open on SumoPaint because you will need to find RGB values of some of the colors you used.
Update the background image on your blog:
- Select Design
- Select Template
- Select Customize
- Select Background
- Click arrow next to current background image
- Select Upload image
- Choose file and upload (if image is too large, go to SumoPaint and save again with lower quality)
- Update the color scheme of your blog to match your background image. You may need to go back to SumoPaint and look at the RGB values of the colors you used.
- When your updates are ready, select Apply to Blog.
Reflect
Write a blog post about ways in which you think your work in Digital Arts creations should be evaluated/assessed.

- Download GIMP & install (raster-based editor we will use in the future)
- Ensure your blog is up to date with Unit 1 creations & reflections
- Create something using GIMP, Piskel or Sumopaint
